Forgiveness
“Even if it’s personal against you and repeated seven times through the day, and seven times he says, ‘I’m sorry, I won’t do it again,’ forgive him.”
Luke 17:3 (The Message)
Normally it’s fairly easy to forgive someone once. But what about someone who repeatedly offends us? That’s going to happen. Humans aren’t perfect, and we will be offended or hurt time and time again. And we will have to forgive, time and time again. And it’s not easy, that’s for sure…but we have to remember that God has forgiven us, even though we constantly mess up and don’t deserve His forgiveness, He has forgiven us anyways and loves us unconditionally, so we should try our best to love people in that same unconditional way and to forgive 7 x 7 and even more then that if need be. And if you struggle with that, ask the Lord to help you to forgive, and He will. You’re not in this alone!
