Don’t just pretend…
Don’t just pretend that you love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Stand on the side of the good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.
Romans 12:9-10 (New Living Translation)It’s easy to PRETEND to love other’s. It’s easy to SAY that you love someone, but they can tell if you truly mean it or not by your ACTIONS. If you act selfish and demand your own way all the time, putting yourself first, they’re going to see that you love yourself the most. But if you act SELFLESS instead of SELFISH, putting other’s needs above your own and serving other’s first, putting yourself last…then they’re going to see that you really mean it when you say that you love them. So show someone you love them today – by your actions. The old saying “Actions speak louder than words” is really true.
