  • Stay on the path

Stay on the path that the Lord your God has commanded you to follow. Then you will live long and prosperous lives in the land you are about to enter and occupy.

    Deuteronomy 5:33

There are so many distractions in our life. It’s easy to get side tracked. To wonder off the path we’re on with God. To get so busy with all of our daily schedules and tasks that we put God on the back shelf. When He should be in the front! FIRST on the list! Don’t let God slip in the back. Keep Him up front, FIRST on your list of tasks of the day. It’s then that you’ll stay on the path and won’t be taken off track as easily. It’s when we place God on the back shelf and stop spending time with Him that we are easily lead astray off the path we’re supposed to be on. Have you spent time with God yet today? Get back on the path with Him. Make spending time with God your first priority every day, and you won’t regret it.

  • How Much He Loves Us

God showed how much he loved us by sending his only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him.

    1 John 4:9

How amazing is it that God, creator of heaven and earth, loves us SO much that He sent his only son into the world, to DIE for us, to take the blame, to pay the price for OUR sins…so that we might have eternal life through Him. I am constantly amazed by how great the Father’s love is for us, that He loves us as His own children, He loves  us as much as His own son! Take a minute today to thank God for his amazing love, and for sending Jesus to die for you.

  • Whatcha thinkin?

    Carefully guard your thoughts
       because they are the source
       of true life.

    Proverbs 4:23

I heard a saying once that says a man is what he thinks about all day. What do you think about the most? Whatever you spend the most time thinking about will truly reflect who you are. Guard your thoughts. If you find yourself thinking negative or sinful thoughts, pray. Ask the Lord to help you to put your mind on things that will glorify Him.To help you focus on Him and living for Him. Ask God to guard your mind and to nudge you whenever you start thinking things you shouldn’t – a lot of times that voice in the back of your head you hear telling you something is wrong is the holy spirit – so listen to Him. If something is telling you it’s wrong it probably is. Guard your mind – because it truly is the source of your life.

  • Be careful…

So be careful how you live. Live as men who are wise and not foolish. Make the best use of your time. These are sinful days.

    Ephesians 5:15-16

Are you truly living carefully? Thinking deeply about each choice that you make and how it will effect your life? Every decision that we make, big or small, impacts the rest of our life. Are you living wise, or foolish? Also look at the friends you spend the most time with – are they living wise, or foolish? The saying birds of a feather flock together really is true – we tend to gravitate towards people like us or become like the people we hang out with, so if you’re hanging out with people that are being foolish it’s most likely that we’re being foolish too. Evaluate your life – are you living wise?

  • Whoever wants to be a leader…

Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must be the slave of everyone else.

    Mark 10:43-44

The leaders that people often look up to the most are the ones who SERVE OTHER’S the most. Who put other’s need’s above their own. Who are selfless, instead of selfish. So if you really want to be a good leader, take some time to SERVE, to help other’s, to love other’s more than you love yourself. It’s when you really do that you’ll be lifted up and be made into a true leader.

  • Your love never fails

    We will celebrate
       and praise you, LORD!
       You are good to us,
       and your love never fails.

    Psalm 106:1

How amazing is it that God, creator of heaven and earth, loves us?  And His love NEVER FAILS! He is never going to stop loving us! I am constantly amazed by His love. We are so undeserving of His love, and yet he loves us anyways, simply because he chooses to. He created you and has plans for you, amazing plans better than you can even imagine! He loves you SO much and He cares about every detail of your life. Take some today just to praise the Lord and thank Him for being so good to you, for loving you with an unfailing love.

  • Freely

Freely you have received, freely give.

    Matthew 10:8

God has blessed each one of us so much more than we can even imagine! The greatest gift of all being the gift of salvation through Jesus dying on the cross for our sins. The least that we can do is to freely give! Bless other’s because we have been blessed. Serve other’s! Help those in need. When we bless other people it blesses the Lord! It’s like a way we can give back to God and thank Him for the many blessings He has given us. So if you’re looking for a way to thank God, a great way is to serve other’s. Find a way to get plugged into serving at your church regularly . Help a neighbor in need or a friend or even a stranger in need. Bless other’s, for you truly have been blessed!

  • We live for Him

But we know that there is only one God, the Father, who created everything, and we live for him.

    1 Corinthians 8:6

We live for HIM. Sometimes, we forget that our life isn’t all about us…it’s about HIM. GOD. God is our purpose for living, the REASON that we live! We are here to glorify Him in everything that we do. It isn’t about us or our wants and needs, it’s all about Him. Sometimes we just need to be reminded of that. It’s easy to get self absorbed sometimes and before we know our life is about me me me, when it should be all about HIM HIM HIM!!! Ask yourself at the end of the day – what did I do today for God? Are you living for Him – or for yourself?

  • God’s close by

The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth.

    Psalm 145:18

Have you ever prayed and wondered is God really listening? He is listening. He’s ALWAYS listening…and He’s always near by…never too far out of reach. God isn’t playing hide and seek with you, He WANTS you to find Him, wants you to call on Him in times of trouble. So whatever is bothering you today, whatever you’re worried about…pray about it. Knowing that God is near, listening, and ready to help.

  • Revenge and grudges

Don’t seek revenge or carry a grudge against any of your people.

    Leviticus 19:18

We should never try to “get back” at someone who has treated us badly. Instead we should pray for them, and submit the situation to God. We should also not carry a grudge against anyone in our heart – is there someone that you haven’t forgiven that you need to? Remember God has forgiven us, so we have to try our best to forgive other’s. Let go, and let God.
