Instead…
“Never return evil for evil or insult for insult, but instead pay them back with a blessing.”1 Peter 3:9Wow, how many of us, when insulted or treated badly, would respond by blessing the person? That’s not the easy thing to do, for sure…but that’s exactly what we SHOULD do. It’s like starting a blessing cycle. When we bless someone who has insulted us or treated us wrong it’s going to shock them, it’s going to make them wonder “Why is this person being so nice to me when I treated them so badly??” And it let’s them see God’s love in you, because God blesses us! And it blesses God when we bless other’s. So get that blessing cycle going today, bless someone who insults/offends you.

I do this alot and in the end it feels good on my heart to bless them rather than curse them.
Amen! It really does feel better to bless.
