Be joyful always; pray continually;
give thanks in all circumstances,

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Sometimes we pray about something for a long time, for years even decades maybe, with out seeing an answer or a result. Don't give up. Keep on praying. Pray with out ceasing. God's timing is SO much better then our own, and His plans are much much better then our's as well. Sometimes He may even answer our prayer in such a different way then we expected that we don't even recognize the answer when it's right there in front of us. Don't give up, keep on praying. God knows what He's doing, and He hears your every prayer.

He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day.

Psalm 91:4-5

It's such a comfort knowing that God is always with us and that we don't have anything to be afraid of. God is our refuge, our shield! So whatever it is that you're afraid of, whether it's a person or thing or problem, whatever your fear is, pray and ask the Lord to deliver you from that fear and to give you peace. Know that God is ALWAYS with you watching over you, you don't have to face any fear alone. God will help you conquer EVERY fear. So give Him your fear now.

Do not remember the things that have happened before. Do not think about the things of the past.

Isaiah 43:18

Sometimes we have a hard time letting go of the past. Things, people or places. Or maybe even mistakes that we made. Maybe you made a mistake and you asked God for forgiveness and God has forgiven you but you haven't been able to forgive yourself, haven't been able to let it go. Pray right now and ask the Lord to help you to let it go and to not dwell on it anymore. Let the past rest in the past, and focus on right now and on the future.

Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives.

Colossians 3:16 (New Living Translation)

Reading the bible every day is such a great way to gain wisdom in which we will use in not only our own lives but which we can encourage other's and teach & counsel them with what we have learned! So let the message fill your life. Spend time reading the message every day. Make reading the bible a part of your daily schedule, first on your list, and you won't regret it!

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:6-7

Worried about something? Don't worry. PRAY. Whatever you're worried about, give it to the Lord and trust in Him knowing that He will help you. And He can give you His peace that passes all understanding and guards your heart and mind. So whatevers worrying you today, pray about it right now and ask the Lord for help and for peace.

The man who gives much will have much, and he who helps others will be helped himself.

Proverbs 11:25

It really is a blessing to give and to help other's. Because not only does it bless the person that we're helping, it blesses God, who in return blesses us. It's like a never ending blessing cycle! So get the cycle going today. Bless someone. Help someone. Give to someone. We have to keep the cycle going. If we never help anyone but ourself, that'll stop the whole cycle. Keep the blessing cycle going. Bless someone today.

This is what the LORD says: Do not be afraid! Don't be discouraged by this mighty army, for the battle is not yours, but God's. ... But you will not even need to fight. Take your positions; then stand still and watch the LORD's victory. He is with you, O people of Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged. Go out there tomorrow, for the LORD is with you! 2 Chronicles 20:15,17  (New Living Translation)

We all face battles sometimes, many different kinds of battles...spiritual, emotional, physical, financial, relational...There are so many different kinds of battles we are faced with here on the earth. But it's such a comfort to know that the battle isn't our's, it's God's. So whatever your battle is today, give it to God. There is VICTORY in Christ!

Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets.

Matthew 7:12

I'm sure most of you have heard that verse multiple times. But if we all really starting treating other's the way we would like to be treated, it really would make a big difference in the world. Especially when we're nice to people who haven't been nice to us. When we respond in kindness, the way we WANT to be treated, it'll shock them. And let them see a little bit of God in you.

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

Ephesians 2:10

You are God's MASTERPIECE! God created you and has plans for you, good plans that He planned for you before He even created you. How amazing is that? Just as God created heaven and earth, he created you. You are here for a reason. God has a purpose for you, a reason that He created you. He has PLANS for you. The creator of the universe has plans for YOU. How awesome is that?! So rejoice today, in knowing that you have a purpose and God is going to use you here on the earth in a marvelous way.
