  • If we have enough food & clothing...

So if we have enough food and clothing, let us be content.

    1 Timothy 6:8

If you have enough food and clothing, consider yourself blessed...because not everyone has enough. We spend so much time wanting wanting wanting when we have already been blessed with more then we even need. There are people in other countries that literally are always hungry and don't own a single piece of clothing. So if you have enough food and clothes, be contest. You are blessed.

  • His Children

See what great love the Father has for us that He would call us His children. And that is what we are.

    1 John 3:1

How amazing is it that God, creator of heaven and earth, calls us His Children. And loves us like his own sons and daughters. And just like if you had a son or daughter you would love them and protect them and provide for them and watch over them, God loves us in that same way, even stronger! So rejoice today in knowing that you are a child of God, and He loves you!

  • Rescued

"Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name."

    Psalm 91:14

It's such a comfort to know that God is always there to rescue us, no matter how many times we need Him to rescue us over and over, He always will! How amazing is it that God, the CREATOR of heaven and earth, loves you so much that He is always watching over you, protecting you, ready to sweep in and rescue whenever you need Him? Take a minute today and thank God for the many things and situations He's rescued you from.

  • Evening, morning and noon...

Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress, and he hears my voice. Psalm 55:17

If you've ever prayed and wondered, is God listening? Know that He IS listening, He is ALWAYS listening. So keep on praying...evening, morning and noon, pray! Even if you've been praying for the same thing for years, don't give up, pray without ceasing...and know that God hears you, so trust in Him, knowing He WILL help you. Maybe not in the exact way that you prayed for, but in the BEST way, because He knows what's best for us better then we do.

  • Our guide to the end

    For this God is our God for ever and ever;
he will be our guide even to the end.

    Psalm 48:14

It's such a comfort knowing that God is there with us every day that we live here on the earth, guiding us. You are never alone, God is always there with you, helping you through out every day. So whatever you're worried about or confused or upset about, ask the Lord for help. If you need wisdom, direction and guidance, need to make a decision and aren't sure what to do...turn to Him. For He is the best guide you could ever ask for. BETTER then you could ever ask for!

  • Grief

God blesses those people who grieve. They will find comfort!

    Matthew 5:4

We all go through times of grief. Whether it's losing a loved one, a job, illness, or different times of grief. The next time you go through a time of grief remember that you are not alone, God is there with you, to comfort you and give you peace and bless you. So turn to Him in your time of grief, and you will be comforted.

  • If you see your enemy...

    If you see your enemy hungry, go buy him lunch;
if he's thirsty, bring him a drink.
Your generosity will surprise him with goodness,
and God will look after you.

     Proverbs 25:21-22

The idea of buying your enemy lunch has probably never crossed your mind. Maybe you're thinking, I don't have any enemies. What about people you don't get along with. People you avoid. Surprise those people by blessing them with generousity. Go out of your way to bless them, and not only will it bless them but it blesses God, and let's them see God's love in you.

  • Freedom

Blessed is the country with God for God

    Psalm 33:12

Here in the USA we are SO blessed to have the FREEDOM to worship God! To be able to read our bible in public places. Have church's on every corner and not go to jail for it. Christians in other countries are put in jail, tortured or even killed because of their faith! We tend to take our freedom for granted. Take a second today and thank God for letting you live in a country where you have the freedom to worship Him.

  • Restoration

The Lord will guide you continually,
giving you water when you are dry
          and restoring your strength.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
          like an ever-flowing spring.

    Isaiah 58:11

Ever felt like you were going through a dry spell? Like you lost your passion for God or for life? Make sure you are spending time with God. And if you already are, then spend even more time with Him. In prayer, in worship, in the bible, in stillness. Spending time in the presence of God every day is a way to be restored, refreshed, renewed, revived! So if you're feeling dry today...go spend some more time with God...and you WILL be refreshed and restored!

  • You are loved

I am sure that nothing can separate us from God's love--not life or death, not angels or spirits, not the present or the future, and not powers above or powers below. Nothing in all creation can separate us from God's love for us in Christ Jesus our Lord!

    Romans 8:38-39 (Contemporary English Version)

It's such a comfort knowing that NOTHING can separate us from God's love. God has always loved you, loves you now, and always will. His love is unconditional, isn't based on anything you have or haven't done. He loves you simply because He chooses you. He CREATED you! He created you for a reason. He has plans for you. GREAT plans! His love is UNFAILING. He is ALWAYS going to love you. So rejoice today, knowing YOU ARE LOVED!
