Remain in fellowship
And now, dear children, remain in fellowship with Christ so that when he returns, you will be full of courage and not shrink back from him in shame.
1 John 2:28
It’s so important for us to remain in fellowship with Christ. To spend time with Him daily…in the bible, in prayer, in worship, in stillness before Him. Quiet time with the Lord is such an import part of our relationship with Him. In order to stay close to a person you have to spend time with that person. It’s the same way with God – in order to stay close to God you have to spend time with Him and keep spending time with Him every day and you will grow closer and closer to Him.
