  • Wisdom

     

    All wisdom comes from the LORD, and so do common sense and understanding.

    Proverbs 2.6

    You can  never have too much wisdom. We should always seek more wisdom, common sense and understand from the Lord. And one of the ways we can do that is by spending time with God. Reading the bible and learning from Him, praying and spending quiet time with Him each day and also going to church and being encouraged and encouraging other’s. We should constantly seek more wisdom, every day that we live here on the earth until we leave it.

  • Love like that.

     

    What God does is love you. Keep company with him and learn a life of love. Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. He didn’t love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us. Love like that.

    Ephesians 5:1-2

     

    I think the reason so many friendships end and divorces happen is because people don’t love the way God loves. Most people love expecting to get something from someone in return. God loves us with out expecting anything. God loves us unconditionally, His love isn’t based on anything we’ve done to earn His love, He loves us simply because He chooses to. We should love people in that same way, without expecting anything in return. Love like that.

  • Wait for Him to answer…

     

    But I trust the LORD God
       to save me,
       and I will wait for him
       to answer my prayer.

    Micah 7:7

     

    Sometimes when we pray for something and it doesn’t happen right away, we try to take it in our own hands and MAKE it happen. But when we do that instead of waiting on the Lord, that’s when we tend to mess things up and things don’t work out quite right. If we wait for God’s timing, which is SO MUCH BETTER then our own, things will work out SO MUCH better then our own.

  • The joys of those who trust in Him

     

    Taste and see that the LORD is good. Oh, the joys of those who trust in him!

    Psalm 34:8

    If we truly trust in the Lord, we WILL have joy. It’s when we put our trust in man or in ourself and not in God that we get worried or upset and tend to lose our joy. When we trust in God and surrender every area of our life and ourselves to God, that’s when we can truly be at peace and have true joy because we KNOW that we can do all things through Christ!

  • Lies

     

    Telling lies about others
          is as harmful as hitting them with an ax,
       wounding them with a sword,
          or shooting them with a sharp arrow.

    Proverbs 25:18

    Ouch. I don’t know about you but I do not want to harm anyone I know that way. Our words can have a greater effect on people then we will ever realize. Don’t tell lies about anyone. Eventually, the truth WILL be known. And you don’t want to crush or hurt anyone – even if the lie you tell seems harmless enough or maybe you even think it’s “for their good” or to “help them”. Lies never help. In the end, they only hurt.

  • Don’t wear yourself out…

     

    Don’t wear yourself out to get rich; 
        stop giving your attention to it.

    Proverbs 23:4

    Money can’t buy happiness. Some of the richest people in the world are still unhappy, because only God can satisfy that void and if you try to satisfy it with anything of the world, you’re left feeling unsatisfied. The world and all it’s “Things” are one day going to fade away. But God remains forever. So give your attention to God, for that’s where our attention should always be.

  • Fear…

     

    Fear of man will prove to be a snare,
           but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.

    Proverbs 29:25

    Are you afraid of anyone? Don’t be. Trust in the Lord. God is WAAAAAAY more powerful than any PERSON could ever be…and God will help you deal with any problem with any person that you’re faced with…so if there is a person that you’re afraid of, pray and give that situation with that person to the Lord and trust in Him knowing that you have nothing to fear, God will help you deal with that person you fear.

  • Slipping

     

    When I said, My foot is slipping, Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, held me up.

    Psalm 94:18

    We all have those days where we sometimes slip up, where nothing seems to go right, where we can barely stand. Thankfully whenever we’re weak, God is ALWAYS strong, and He will give us the strength we need to get through each and every day that we live here on the earth. There will be times when we start to stumble or fall, but EVERY TIME, no matter how many times we have stumbled before, the Lord is always there to catch us and hold us up again.

  • My eyes are toward you, O God

     

    For my eyes are toward You, O God the Lord. In You I have a safe place.

    Psalm 141:8

    What are your eyes focused on the most? If you keep your eyes on yourself or your problems, that’s when you’re going to stress out and worry the most. But when you take your eyes off of yourself, off of your problems, and put your eyes on God…that’s when God gives you His peace that passes all understanding. So if YOU’VE been feeling stressed…get your eyes focused back on God and trust in Him, knowing that He is always there for you and will help you with whatever struggles you may encounter.

  • Trouble

     

    Pray to me in time of trouble.
       I will rescue you,
       and you will honor me.

    Psalm 50:15

    We all go through times of trouble…it’s just part of living on the earth. Whenever you enter into a time of trouble, instead of freaking out or getting discouraged or depressed or afraid, turn to the Lord. Pray to Him and give to Him whatever it is that your trouble is. He will rescue you and help you deal with whatever kind of trouble you get into.
