  • God’s people will prosper

    Trust in your wealth,
and you will be a failure,
       but God’s people will prosper
       like healthy plants.

    Proverbs 11:28

When we trust in our wealth or in anything of the world, that’s when we fail. But when we trust in the Lord, we WILL prosper, like healthy plants. God is going to tend to us, water us, feed us, look out for us. Meeting our every need. And yes there will be times of suffering, times when we feel a bit like a wilted plant…but trust in the Lord, he will help you through the tough times, so that you become healthy once again.

  • Strength

Finally, let the mighty strength of the Lord make you strong.

    Ephesians 6:10

Sometimes, we are weak. Thankfully, whenever we are weak, God is ALWAYS strong! And He will give us the strength that we need to accomplish ANYTHING. No matter how big or small your problem is, God cares about it. God cares about you and every detail of your life, both the big and small ones. So whatever your problem is give it to God, and trust in Him to give you the strength you need to solve it.

  • We should think about others…

Some of you say, “We can do whatever we want to!” But I tell you that not everything may be good or helpful.

We should think about others and not about ourselves.

    1 Corinthians 10:23-24

Sometimes what we want to do isn’t good or helpful. Sometimes what we want to do is selfish. Instead of doing just whatever we want, we should instead think about other’s and how we could bless them and even more importantly how we could bless God. So think about what you’re doing…is it blessing other’s, is it blessing God, or is it just blessing you alone?

  • Secrets

There is nothing hidden that will not be found. There is no secret that will not be well known.

    Luke 8:17

What are you hiding? What are your deepest darkest secrets? Remember that God knows each and every thing about us, there is nothing that we can hide from Him. And as much as we try to hide things from people as well, more than likely in most cases the truth will eventually be known. So don’t do in secret what you wouldn’t in public, because one day what’s done in private could be known publicly.

  • Respect

I command you to show respect for older people

    Leviticus 19:32

We should always respect our elders. Even though they aren’t always right and we may not always agree with them, we can still respect them and their beliefs and not rebel or argue with them but peacefully agree to disagree sometime. Also be willing to listen to your elders, for we can gain a lot of wisdom from them.

  • Learn to know Him better.

Learn to know our Lord Jesus Christ better. He is the One Who saves.

    2 Peter 3:18

You can never become too close to God. We should strive every day to know Him more and more. The more time we spend with him, in the word(the bible)prayer, worship, stillness and quiet time with Him every day, the closer we will grow to Him. Spend every day growing closer to God and you won’t regret it.

  • Thank God!

    Shout praises to the LORD!
       Our God is kind,
and it is right and good
       to sing praises to him.
        He renews our hopes
       and heals our bodies.

    Psalm 147:1 & 3

God has blessed us each so much more then we can even imagine. He renews our hopes daily, heals our bodies, is kind and good to us and loves us even though we don’t deserve it. Take a second today just to pray and thank God for the many blessings that He has blessed you with, the greatest gift of all being salvation.

  • Undeserved kindness

But God shows undeserved kindness to everyone. That’s why he appointed Christ Jesus to choose you to share in his eternal glory. You will suffer for a while, but God will make you complete, steady, strong, and firm.

    1 Peter 5:10

We don’t deserve God’s kindness, but He loves us anyway. His love isn’t based on anything we’ve done to deserve it, because we DON’T deserve it, not a single human on earth is worthy of God’s love and kindness, we have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God…but he sent Jesus to die for us to pay the price of our sins so that we could be forgiven, so that we would have the chance to spend eternity with Him in heaven.

  • Who?

Who then is a faithful and wise servant?

    Matt.24:45

It’s easy to SAY that you believe in God and are a faithful servant of Him. But actions speak louder than words. If you live to glorify yourself instead of God, doing whatever it is YOU want to do and not serving or living for God, then your actions are saying the opposite of your words. LIVE THE WORD. Serve God. Live for God, not yourself. For He is the reason we live.

  • Understand this…

Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.

    James 1.19

Sometimes when people angry they do the opposite of what these verse are telling us to do. They are quit to get angry, quick to speak and don’t listen at all. When we should be doing what these verses say. LISTEN. Hold your toungue. Keep anger in check and don’t let angry control you. Control your anger. Don’t sin by letting anger control you.
