  • We have peace

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

    Romans 5:1

This year don’t forget what Christmas is really all about. Jesus birth. He came to earth to make peace between us and God, to die for us and give us the gift of salvation, to take the blame for our sins so that we could be justified by faith and have the chance to live for eternity with Him in heaven. Thank God for the greatest peace of all, the peace that Jesus brings us.

  • The greatest gifts…

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

    James 1:17

The best gifts of all are not THINGS at all. They are blessings from above. Peace, joy, love – those are so much greater then any ITEM we could ever obtain on the earth. So don’t get caught up in longing for worldly things, but instead focus on growing closer to the Lord and gaining the greatest gifts of all from Him, the greatest being the gift of salvation!

  • Not your home

Friends, this world is not your home, so don’t make yourselves cozy in it. Don’t indulge your ego at the expense of your soul.

    1 Peter 2:11 MSG

It’s easy to forget that this world is not our home. Our true home is heaven, and earth is just like the road trip on the way to heaven. So don’t get to cozy on the earth. Don’t indulge in whatever you want to do, thinking only of the temporary or only of yourself…instead, remember where you are headed…heaven.. Live for God, not for yourself. Because God is our true purpose and the reason we live is For Him.

  • More than conquerors

In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who
    loved us.

    Romans 8:37

It doesn’t matter how big your problem is, or how small. The Lord WILL help you conquer it. You can conquer all things through Christ who will give you strength! So the next time you are faced with a problem that seems to difficult for you, remember it’s not. NOTHING is too difficult for us because of Christ. Whenever we are weak, He is ALWAYS strong and will us the strength we need to conquer every single problem we’re faced with. Every time.

  • No divisions

I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose.

    1 Corinthians 1:10

These days it seems the church gets divided at the drop of a hat. Over silly, little things that don’t even matter. Don’t let something small divide you, sometimes you can agree to disagree and make peace. Remember it’s all about our Lord Jesus Christ, that’s what really matters, not all the little silly things people argue over…so live in harmony. Live in peace. No divisions.

  • God isn’t playing hide and seek.

If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.

    Jeremiah 29:13

God isn’t playing hide and seek. He isn’t hiding from you. He WANTS you to find Him, to spend time with Him daily, to LOVE Him. He is always ready and waiting. So many people say they feel so far from God and I ask them if they are spending time with God every day, and they say no. Well, then it makes sense they feel far from God. You have to spend time with God to become closer to Him. Just as if you were getting to know get to know a person you’d spend time with that person in order to get to know them better and to become close to them. Spend time with God daily…seek Him, and you WILL find Him.

  • God’s own

Before the world was created, God had Christ choose us to live with him and to be his holy and innocent and loving people. God was kind  and decided that Christ would choose us to be God’s own adopted children.

    Ephesians 1:4-5

How amazing is it that God has adopted us as His own children? You are a son or daughter of the KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORD’S!!! He loves you as His own child. He watches over you and protects you and loves with an UNFAILING LOVE. No matter how many times you may slip or fall, He will always be there to catch you, to mend that scrapped knee, to be there for you through the aches and pains of life. His love will never fail.

  • Emptied of worry

You will rest safe and secure,
       filled with hope
       and emptied of worry.
        19You will sleep without fear
       and be greatly respected.

    Job 11:18-19

How would you like to be emptied of worry? You can be. If you daily give your worries to the Lord. It’s a repetitive thing, something you will have to do every day, as different problems arise each day. Surrender every problem, every worry, to the Lord, and be filled with His peace that passing all understanding…knowing that God is in control and He WILL help you face whatever it is that you are worried about.

  • Puzzled?

Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.

    Ecclesiastes 3:11

We can’t see the finished picture. Our lives are like a puzzle with pieces constantly being put into place. But when things happen that we don’t understand or when things don’t happen that we want to, it can be frustrating. But instead of being frustrated, we should rejoice and have peace in knowing that God CAN see the finished picture. The finished puzzle of our lives all put together. And God knows best. So trust in Him knowing that no matter what trials you may have in life, God will help you finish the puzzle.

  • Giving

Giving a gift can open doors.

    Proverbs 18:16

Giving a gift not only blesses the person that you are giving to but it also blesses God, who in return blesses you. And a gift does not just mean an item, but it can also be an act of service. Serving someone. Serving God. Helping someone. Maybe offering to watch someone’s kids to give them a night out or helping someone with some repairs on their house or chores they need done or fixing someone a meal. There are so many different ways that we can bless other’s and give them gifts of service. Serve someone today, and bless them with that gift of service.
