Pray to me in time of trouble.
   I will rescue you,
   and you will honor me.

Psalm 50:15

We all go through times of trouble...it's just part of living on the earth. Whenever you enter into a time of trouble, instead of freaking out or getting discouraged or depressed or afraid, turn to the Lord. Pray to Him and give to Him whatever it is that your trouble is. He will rescue you and help you deal with whatever kind of trouble you get into.

Listen to advice and accept instruction,
       and in the end you will be wise.

Proverbs 19:20

Sometimes when we need to hear advice the most, is when we DON'T want to hear it at all. So if someone gives you advice that you really don't want to hear or agree with, instead of snapping at them and not listening to them at all, at least listen to what they have to say and be willing to think about it and not just blow it off. Friends and family can see issues we have sometimes that we ourselves can't see...so listen to them, and most important listen to God and to His word, and in the end, you will be wise.

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Psalm 100:4

We spend so much time asking the Lord to bless us. Have you ever asked Him for you to bless HIM? That's something we should all do more often. Ask the Lord to help us bless Him. And to thank Him for the many blessings that He's given us, for blessing us each so much more than we will even ever know. The least we can do, is thank Him, and ask Him to help us to bless Him, too.

Kind words bring life. But cruel words crush your spirit. Proverbs 15:4

Think about what you say before you say it. Is it going to edify, encourage and lift someone up, or tear them down and crush their spirit? The words that we speak to people can have a much greater effect on them then we ever realize. So chose your words wisely...build up, don't crush.

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the
weak.

Isaiah 40:29

We all have days that we just need some extra strength. Thankfully whenever we're weak, God is ALWAYS strong! He will give you the strength that you need to do make it through every day that you live here on the earth. You never have to do anything alone, God is always there to help you accomplish everything that you ever have to accomplish!

“Do not judge others, and you will not be judged".

Matthew 7:1

Judging other's and pointing out what other people are doing is easy, but we should never do that...we should remember that no one is perfect, including you. Instead of pointing out others mistakes, take a look at your own and what you can do differently to not make the same mistakes again. Thankfully you can learn from your mistakes and not make them again, but that does take effort and isn't easy. Just remember the next time you judge someone, you yourself may be judged as well.

 I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness
      while I am here in the land of the living. 
 Wait patiently for the Lord.
      Be brave and courageous.
      Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.

Psalm 27:13-14

Sometimes we go through things in life that we just don't understand, and may never understand. If you're going through a time right now like that or whenever you do, remember, God is with you...so wait patiently, knowing that no mater what your problem is, God WILL help you get through it. So be brave, be courageous, knowing that the battle doesn't belong to you, the battle belongs to the Lord, and He ALWAYS wins!

He will cover you with His wings. And under His wings you will be safe. He is faithful like a safe-covering and a strong wall.

Psalm 91:4

It's so amazing to think that God, creator of heaven and earth, is our protector. Our safe covering, our body guard! ALWAYS with us, watching over us, protecting us. We are never alone! So the next time you feel alone or afraid of anything or anyone, remember, GOD is with you,  the best body guard you could ever hope for!

Be careful to live properly among your unbelieving neighbors.

1 Peter 2:12

How we live our life can make a greater impact on people then we will ever realize. One of the best way that we can show people God is by loving them with an unconditional love like the way God loves us each unconditionally. Loving the most unlovable people, especially, will let them see God's love in you. Don't just love people that are easy to love, but love those people that are the most difficult.
